Commissions

Thank you for much for you interest in commissioning me! As a Bindrune and Sigil artist, I specialize in the art form of combining sacred symbols of power for different purposes and intentions. I am most well known for my Bindrunes, the art of combining the Nordic Futhark Runes together, but I am also a Sigil artist as well, using more abstract symbols and concepts to help improve and empower the lives of my clients. What you need to know getting started…

Before I start on any of my commissioned pieces, I first review what is being requested and either approve or reject the project. So please be sure to include as much information as possible of what you are wanting to have commissioned when you Contact Me. I make Bindrunes and Sigils for all sort of different purposes, so don’t be shy telling me what it is you’re looking for. I’ve made Bindrunes and Sigils for protection, family sigils, dedications to specific deities, fertility, abundance, good health, connection to high self, release, breaking bad habits, viking costumes, personal sigils of power, and more. If I do not have enough information, I may not approve your commission and will direct you instead to some of my other work I have done that might fit your needs better. My commissions are intended for Personal Spiritual uses only. If you are looking to commission me for a business logo or design with the intention to resell it, please let me know when you Contact Me. Commercial release options are sometimes available depending on the project and include an additional fee to the base price of the commission.

Once your submission has been approved, you will be emailed an invoice. I do not start working on my commissions until the balance is paid in full. I have a 72 hour payment in full policy once the invoice is sent. If any unforeseen issues occur and you are no longer able to pay for the commission, please notify me right away. Otherwise, if the invoice is not paid in full within 72 hours, the commission will automatically be cancelled. I currently accept payments though Square and Paypal.

After the balance is paid in full, I will get to work on your commission in the order it was received. My usual turnaround time for my commissions is about 1-2 weeks after the balance is paid in full. If something happens and I am unable to get your commission to you within that time frame, I will be in contact to let you know. Please do not email me asking me where you commission is if it is still within the 1-2 week time frame.

If you are needing your commission done by a specific date (for a tattoo appointment or wedding date) please be sure to let me know when you contact me as well. That way I am able to tell you if I am able to commit to that specific date or not. If I do not know this information at the time when I agree to take on your commission, I cannot guarantee that I can get your commission to you by the time you need it.

Picking a visual Style and look

One other piece of information I will need to know about your commission is what you would like it to look like visually by picking a kind of style and what colors you would like me to use. All of my pieces are roughly about the same size which is why I offer my commissions for a flat rate price. If you have a specific look in mind for your commission, please include descriptive words like flowing, angular, runic, faery, organic, etc so I can get a clear image of what it is you are looking for. You can also send me pictures of some of my other pieces if you are inspired by some of my other work as well. I offer Traditional Bindrunes, Compass Bindrunes and Sigils, Symmetrical Bindrunes and Sigils, and Long Staff Bindrunes and Sigils. You can pick one of the styles or mix them up as well. Just let me know that you would like me to pick the style and colors for you when you Contact Me about your commission.

What will I RECEIVE?

All of my work is created digitally, so my clients will receive five high res PNG images of their commission via email. You will recieve two colored versions and two black and white copies of the original; one with a white background and one with a black background. Please let me know when you contact me if you need any of these images without a background. Commercial Clients (who are using my commissions for business logos or to re-create for the purpose to resell my work) will automatically recieve images without backgrounds and without my signature. Your commission also comes with a full explanation image of all of the runes and symbols used in your project, along with their meanings and purpose they were used for, so you have a full understanding of what went into making your Bindrune or Sigil.

All of my commissioned pieces are the legal property of Stephanie Ingersoll. Due to ongoing issues of art theft on my social media accounts, I am no longer posting my commissioned art on those platforms. Those pieces however, are still part of my personal portfolio and may be used on my website or other publications.

What are Natal Sigils?

In addition to my Bindrune and Sigil Commissions, I also offer a unique kind of commission I call a “Natal Sigil.” A Natal Sigil is a symbol of personal power that is the combination of the astrological and zodiac symbols at the time of your birth. Specifically your Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus and Rising signs. It is a deeply personal and empowering symbol that gives us confidence and strength using the power of the zodiac and the planets as they were set at the time of your birth that make us who we are today. I make these for individual people, for couples, parents and children and more.

If you are interested in your own Natal Sigil, please let me know when you Contact Me. I will need one of two pieces of information from you in order to make this unique personalized symbol. Either your Natal Chart that you have already created and generated, or the information necessary for me to generate your Natal Chat. That information is; the day of birth, time of birth, and location (city, state, country) of birth. Without a pre-generated Natal Chart, or the information needed to create a Natal Chart, I will not be able to make a Natal Sigil.

Like my Bindrune and Sigil Commissions, Natal Sigils clients will also receive the same kinds of images (two colored, two black and white and an explanation image) and other options as well.

Different style options are not available for this kind of commission as they are all Staff style Sigils.

If you wish to include more than one person into a Natal Sigil, each additional person is $10 US to the base cost of the commission.

What is the cost of my commissions?

I am offering my one of a kind, personalized Bindrunes, Sigils, and Natal Sigils for $75 US. This is for a single design, custom made to you. If you have any preferences to how you would like your Sigil to look like (colors, designs, styles, etc.) be sure to let me know when you Contact Me otherwise, creative licenses will be left to me. If you wish to have multiple versions of your commission drawn to decide which is to your preference, the cost would be the same for each additional design. The same goes for wanting to commission multiple Bindrunes and Sigils as well. I do not offer a discount for commissioning multiple projects. Commercial clients are treated differently in this regard but is discussed at the beginning of the project.
