Bindrune for Balance and Revitalization

This is one of those Bindrunes that came to me in such beautiful and divine timing. I just had an incredible Reiki Session with my dear friend Raychel of Reiki and Wellness, LLC https://www.reikiandwellnessllc.com/ who I have known for a long time and one of the few people I let work on me energetically. I’ve talked about sessions with her before on my instagram account, but yesterday I came to her with some deeply personal and intensive work and she took such good care of me.

As an energy healer, I cannot stress enough, the importance of having an energy healer for you as well. There are some things we cannot do all on our own and it takes a community to help lift and support us all. To put it simply, I needed help reminding myself of my Dagaz, my light. It is easy to be there for others, but taking the time to be there for ourselves to support, advocate, and love… that doesn’t come as easy for most. It is usually much easier to take a step back and let others shine but we are all worthy of that love, affection, and care. And it starts within ourselves. We are all ancestors in the making and as they say, well behaved people rarely make history. For all the years I have done such intense shadow work, I have found that coming back into my light to be the hardest part.

Artistically, I had a lot of fun making this expand, grow, and glow. Y’all are probably going to see me play a lot more with color moving forward. I do so much with color theory and magic in my day to day life and for a long time I’ve actually been hesitate adding too much color to my work. I see so many beautiful bindrunes on instagram in these very bold black and white colors, but for my own work, I found myself getting board with just simple black and white bindrunes. Yellow and Golds are deeply connected with Freyja, my goddess of love, beauty, personal power, queen of the Valkyries and I wanted to bring her energy into this binding in that subtle way. To really make this one glow and radiate with her love and strength.
