Loki Day Bindrune

I find so many modern day Heathens are so scared even if you mention Loki as if doing so will summon him to conjure every kind of horrible chaos just to personally ruin your day. Most people who do work with Loki don’t really ever choose it. He just shows up one day and like a stray cat, he just lives with you now.

Loki has been so many different kinds of things for me. My sassy cousin who likes to prod me through the seats just to see my reaction. My friend who will always listen and come to my aid no matter what. My drunk Auntie who shows up with tarot cards and a bottle of Moscato. He was the main driving force that helped me to get my office that is such a huge shift in my life, so when I was gifted a gator head and Marvel Loki horns, I knew that that was how he wished to be honored in my new home.

More and more though, as many modern Heathens get over the initial scare, they too find him to be such a loving and protective god, especially for the LGBTQ+ community and his beloved trans, non-binary and gender fluid children. I am so thankful when he sends his people to me both at my events and in my office for guidance and healing because it is such an honor to be able to help those that are so vulnerable.

I find it very fitting that Loki Day (some like to call it April’s Fools day) is the day right after Trans Visibility day. That he gifted the day before his to his children, like no sweetie, you get to go first. Because that really is how he is to his trans children.

If you’re looking for more information about Loki especially in a more modern perspective in our post Ragnorok world, check out “Loki and Sigyn” by Lea Svendsen. Their book is both hilarious and beautifully written in a voice only fitting for the god of chaos and laughter.

If you are looking to honor Loki or to help bring some laughter and mischeif into your life, you are welcome to use my bindrune for Personal Spiritual Purposes only.
