March 2023 Wyrd Wanderings

Once a month we gather to seek the wisdom of the runes, sing with the ancestors and deepen our connection to Well of Wyrd. This month we pulled the runes Berkana - the healing birch tree of growth, renewal and expansion, Nauidhiz - the rune of the Norns, and Gar - the Anglo-Frisian rune of Odin in is aspect of the War-Chief that connects us to our soverigynity, integrity and personal power.

Together these three runes connect us to our personal power of strength, not resilience. This is the power that comes from our integrity, not from survival mode. So many of us have been in survival mode so long that it is hard to recognize ourselves outside of it. We struggle with what it means to thrive in life that we often default back into survival mode because it is easier to navigate.

But that’s not life. We are only meant to be survival mode for a short time before it is time for us to come back to our personal power, our soverigynity, what it means to thrive.
