Orlog

The flower of life design has been speaking to me a lot lately for a million different reasons. To me, this sacred geometry represents the concept of Orlog. Most Seid workers and Heathens are familiar with the image of the Web of Wyrd, the angular design that embodies all of the runes and represents our own personal paths of fate and destiny woven by our decisions and actions. However, that is only one part of the bigger picture that is Orlog. While our personal Web of Wyrd is similar to a flat spider’s web, Orlog is the three dimensional dance of fate threads that embodies so much more. Past lives, ancestral trauma, living in 2023, different timelines and so, so much more that affects our day to day lives.

As I have been continuing to expand my energy healing practices, Orlog is becoming more and more of my work, reconnecting, removing knots, removing timelines, and more. And to me this flower of life that is circular, fluid, open and so expansive, really represents that deeper concept and work that is Orlog.

For me personally as well, my late Opa taught me how to draw the flower of life when I was a child. I have many fond memories sitting in his workshop playing with our compasses and taking turns drawing circles for hours and hours. After his passing, seeing the flower of life coming up more and more is that reminder of his presence and how he helped empower me in more ways I wasn’t even aware of at the time.

So today, I decided to pull out my tablet and practice drawing this sacred geometry and connect with my Orlog deeper and deeper.

What does the flower of life mean to you?

Blessings,

Stephanie
